  2. In a large bowl cream the butter and sugar together (with the help of a blender) until light and fluffy.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, vanilla essence, milk, salt and food colour into it. Blend for 2 minutes to make a yummy dough.
  4. Make 10-12 small equal sized balls out of the dough. Take each ball on your palm and flatten it with the other hand to get a round shaped cookie.
  5. Repeat the process for rest of the balls to make cookies likewise.
  6. Top gems at the center of all the cookies and place them on a baking tray.
  7. Bake it in the preheat oven for 15 minutes.
